Locate Nearest Aadhaar Center: Finding an Aadhaar center in your area from the comfort of your home is now easy. You can find out which Aadhaar center is closest to you in just a few minutes using your mobile.
There was a time when multiple identification documents were required for government work. But now, in most places, just an Aadhaar card is enough. The Aadhaar card, issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), has become a necessary document for every citizen.
A bank, SIM card, gas connection, school, or application for any government scheme—Aadhaar card is now required everywhere in the country. Without it, many people's work gets hampered. Sometimes, incorrect information is entered in the Aadhaar card, which needs to be updated.
If you need to update your Aadhaar card or link a new mobile number, you need to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Thousands of such centers exist across the country where you can pay a fee to complete all your Aadhaar-related work.
But many people don't know where the nearest Aadhaar center is. Fortunately, this can be found using your mobile phone. To find the Aadhaar center in your area, first visit the UIDAI's official website, uidai.gov.in, in your mobile browser.
Go to the "My Aadhaar" section and click on "Locate an Enrolment Center." You'll see three options: state, postal pin code, and a search box. Select the pin code option.
Enter your area's pin code and fill in the captcha displayed on the screen. Finally, click on "Locate a Center." A complete list of all Aadhaar service centers in your area will appear on the screen, allowing you to see which one is closest to your home.
Aadhaar centers offer a variety of services. You can make changes to your name, date of birth, mobile number, or address. If you need to update your biometric data, such as fingerprints or iris, that's also done here.
