Manchester United have been urged to axe boss Ruben Amorim following Saturday's crushing 3-1 loss at Brentford. The Red Devils' defeat at the Gtech Community Stadium witnessed Igor Thiago grab a double before Mathias Jensen sealed a late strike to clinch victory for the hosts.
Benjamin Sesko scored his first United goal, yet it proved meaningless to the final result. United were left nursing their wounds after Bruno Fernandes squandered a spot-kick and defensive errors were committed in west London.
The loss leaves Amorim's squad in 14th position in the Premier League standings, having collected just seven points from their opening six matches. They have only succeeded in scoring seven times thus far.

And ex-Southampton striker Matt Le Tissier believes that Amorim's tenure will soon be over at Old Trafford following Saturday's loss to Keith Andrews' side.
"I'm a big fan of giving managers time to turn things around at football clubs," he told Football Insider. "I don't know what Man United fans think, but surely Amorim has been given enough time to sort that team out?.
"Still, there seems to be very little sign of massive improvement in that team. I have to think that his time has come to an end.
"I don't think it will be long before the board makes that decision.
"It's probably the right decision, as much as I don't like seeing managers getting sacked, but this has been going on for long enough now. I'm not sure that the board and Ratcliffe's patience can last much longer."
United are set to host fifth-placed Sunderland next Saturday (3pm kick-off UK time), with the Black Cats off to a flying start in their return to the top-flight.
Following the international break, the United face a formidable journey to Premier League champions Liverpool.
