Taylor Swiftfans have changed their mind. Loyal Swifties have now claimed a new tune from The Life Of A Showgirl is actually a diss track to Kim Kardashian and not Charli XCX as first speculated.
As the album continues to break records - which were also set by TayTay herself - her fans have continued their deep dive into the meaning of her songs. And none has had a bigger inspection than Actually Romantic.
The track came under scrutiny initially as fans questioned if it was a dig at former pal Charli. However, as the days go on, it's now queried as to whether it is actually hitting out at Kim Kardashian.

It's claimed a major clue in the song is going to reignite the long-running feud between the pair. They have been at loggerheads for over a decade with Kim's ex-husband Kanye West previously being embroiled in a bitter war of words with the 35-year-old songstress.
It's claimed the second verse of Actually Romantic is referring to Taylor's beef with Kim in 2018. The lyrics state: "But you keep sending me funny valentines / And I know you think it comes off vicious / But it’s precious, adorable.”
Some listeners point out it could be a jibe towards Kim's 2018 antics, in which she sent Valentine's gifts to her "haters". In an Instagram Story at the time, Kim, now 44, revealed Taylor had made the list of recipients.
“I decided for this Valentine’s Day everyone deserves a Valentine,” Kim said in the post at the time. "So I’m going to send them to my lovers, to my haters, to everyone that I think of because it’s Valentine’s Day after all.”
Despite claims it is a diss track and Swifties being divided on to who it is targeting, Taylor herself moved to explain the song. In an audio track-by-track breakdown of the new album for Amazon Music, the Shake It Off singer insisted exactly why she wrote the song.
She said it's "about realising that someone else has kind of had a one-sided, adversarial relationship with you that you didn’t know about".
She said: "And all of a sudden they start doing too much and they start letting you know that actually, you’ve been living in their head rent-free and you had no idea. It’s presenting itself as them sort of resenting you or having a problem with you but you take that and just accept it as love and you accept it as attention and affection, and how flattering that somebody has made you such a big part of their reality when you didn’t even think about this.
Taylor then added: "It’s actually pretty romantic if you really think about it."
