Princess Anne is absent from today's Remembrance Sunday service, as she is currently on a four-day trip to Australia. Anne, 75, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence arrived in Australia on November 8 and will be there until Tuesday.
Despite his sister's absence, the King has been joined by his wife Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales. Anne has, however, paid her respects during a Remembrance Sunday service at the ANZAC memorial in Sydney. The visit Down Under marks her first in two years, with the royal also set to travel to Singapore between November 12 and 13.
Anne's visit will see her undertake a host of military engagements across Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane to commemorate a significant milestone for the Royal Australian Corps of Signals.
Anne was also noticeably absent from the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
The King and Queen were joined by Princess Kate and Prince George. Like his aunt, Prince William was also absent as he had arrived back from Brazil only hours before.
As she arrived in sunny Australia, Anne was dressed in a double-breasted black blazer, with a striped cream blouse and cream trousers and held a simple black handbag.
Anne has served as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals since 1997.
Her latest visit will celebrate a century since the formation of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals.
Anne's marks the first trip to Australia by any British Royal Family member in 2025.
King Charles and Queen Camilla travelled there for a brief visit in October 2024.
