The full lineup for the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing has officially been announced, but eagle-eyed fans have predicted that they've worked out the "same-sex" pairing. The show is due to return this autumn, and one of the confirmed famous faces is Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn. The 49-year-old, who is also a well-known DJ, boasts an impressive height of six foot and nine inches. The BBC dance competition usually pairs celebrities and professionals based on height compatibility. According to The Sun, one loyal fan wrote online that they think they've worked it out for this reason, and have anticipated that Kristian will be partnered with a male pro.
They penned: "Given his height, maybe there's a chance he gets a male pro? Even the taller female pros will still be nearly a foot shorter than him! Excited to see him, always struck me as a lovely guy in interviews."

Another fan who replied to the prediction said: "Maybe he'll get Johannes?" A third also echoed: "Wow, was not expecting this. Rooting for him and excited to see how they will work around the height difference."
Johannes Radebe and celebrity baker John Whaite made history as the show's first all-male pairing in the 2021 series. Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin were paired together in 2023 and made it all the way to the final.
Nicola Adams and Katya Jones were the first-ever female pairing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020. Last year, there was no same-sex pairing during the dance competition.
The show's tallest male pro dancers include Kai Widdrington (6'2) and Johannes Radebe (6'0). The tallest female professional is Nadiya Bychkova (5'7).
This year's lineup also includes Vicky Pattison, Thomas Skinner, Ellie Goldstein, Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Chris Robshaw, La Voix, Stefan Dennis, Suki Panesar, and George Clarke.
