Flipkart launches post-purchase protection program 'Trust Shield'

Flipkart has launched a post-purchase protection program called the Flipkart Trust Shield that is aimed to make Flipkart the single point of contact for product-related issues within 30 days of delivery. The program covers accidental damage , liquid ingress, and manufacturer warranty claims for large appliances, mobiles, and select electronics.


In a press release, the company said that customers can report issues directly on the Flipkart app, with assured resolution within two working days and in-app claim tracking. The program applies to products such as ACs, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and microwaves.



Unlike standard return and replacement policies that direct customers to coordinate with brands, Flipkart Trust Shield allows claims to be filed directly with Flipkart, offering real-time status updates and faster resolution.
